 Summary

The Isumi Railway is a local rail line that meanders through the rural landscapes of Isumi City and the town of Otaki. The Isumi Railway stops at fourteen stations, linking to the JR Line at Ohara Station. At Kazusa-Nakano Station, the Isumi and Kominato railways link together, forming a rail network that crosses the Boso Peninsula from Goi Station on the Tokyo Bay side to Ohara Station on the Pacific Ocean side. Seasonal flowers are planted along the railway tracks and their colorful blooms create sights that attract travelers year-round.

 Helpful Tips

Fields of nanohana (canola flowers) bloom along the Isumi Railway tracks from late February to early April.
