Nagisa no Eki is roadside station located alongside Tateyama Bay. Come enjoy the large aquarium at the Seaside Plaza, then relax and take in the view of the bay from the Observation Deck. Stop next door at the Nagisa Museum (Tateyama City Museum Annex) and check out its exhibits which feature designated national cultural properties of Japan. There is also a gift shop which opened in November 2014, where you can enjoy a meal and buy souvenirs made from locally produced ingredients.

 Helpful Tips

On December 25, 2015, Tateyama Furusato Ambassador "Sakana-kun" (fish expert and TV figure) was appointed as the honorary stationmaster of Nagisa no Eki Tateyama. The Sakana-kun Gallery was also opened to coincide with the event.
